Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) has become a crucial tool for optimizing complex fluid flow systems, including those found in hospital environments. The current project aims to simulate the flow and heat transfer inside a hospital room using Large Eddy Simulations (LES) techniques. The objective of this simulation is to gain a deeper understanding of the flow patterns and heat distribution inside a hospital room, which is crucial for ensuring the comfort, health and safety of the patients and staff. By modeling the real-life conditions and comparing the results with experimental data, the project will provide valuable insights into the design and operation of hospital rooms, and contribute to the advancement of the field of CFD in healthcare applications.
